I've had a lot of interest in my Suburban.
This seems to be a favorite usable collectible with many people.....everyone has a story or a memory....
I've been really firm on my price.......but I know in my heart that I must let her go.
Your offers need to come up a little for me to accept....give it some consideration.
Beautifully restored 1952 Chevy Suburban originally from Southern California…..a surf wagon….seats 8
passengers……period correct Tucson Tan paint.
Rear clam shell tailgate.
The original 216 ci babbitt motor was upgraded with a late 50s full presure 235 ci straight 6 chevy motor (Chevy's
improvement over the legendary 216). Has a 4 speed transmission on the floor, with granny gear, and a later 50s
rear axle (highway ratio) with an open driveshaft….the torque tube is gone!!! and so are the torque tube problems
(such as leaks & difficulty changing rear end gears to more favorable highway gears). 12 volt alternator. She
drives out very easy & cruises the highway nicely. The clutch engages smoothly and brakes are in correct excellent
shape. The suspension is stock and springs and shocks work nicely together, providing an exceptional smooth ride
(this is the best Advance Design Chevy Truck I've ever driven)
The paint is driver quality and it has a nice finish. The chrome is excellent. Glass is all good….new rubber
seals everywhere. Has a rare & expensive front grill bumper guard. Lots of other accessories approximately $4K in
accessories alone.
The interior is beautiful with ALL 3 rows of seats. New headliner. Carpet over original wooden floor. I moved
the front seat back a few inches to make it more comfortable for me to drive….I'm 6'4'', it can be put back to
its original position in a half an hour. Lots of accessories….Premium Grill Guard, Special Chevrolet Steering
Wheel, Dash Fan, Windshield Washer Bottle, Stainless Strips on all Fenders, Fog Lights, Turn Signals with
correct rear lights and Dual Exhaust.
